Junior Innovate Sarawak Northern Maker Fair 2026

The Junior Innovate Sarawak Northern Maker Fair 2026 was held on 12 September 2026 at Pustaka Sarawak, Miri. The event brought together 20 of the best teams from Northern Sarawak, providing a valuable platform for young innovators to showcase their creativity, problem-solving skills, and innovative ideas.

SK Trusan was represented by two teams, Go Beyond and Spark. Both teams demonstrated great enthusiasm, creativity, and commitment throughout the competition. Their efforts were recognised with one Bronze Award and one Consolation Prize.

While the awards were a meaningful achievement, the impact of the competition extended far beyond the results. The students were given the opportunity to observe and interact with other talented teams from across Northern Sarawak. They were exposed to a wide range of creative ideas, innovative solutions, and different approaches to problem-solving.

For the students, this was a new and eye-opening experience that broadened their understanding of innovation and motivated them to improve their own projects. The fair also encouraged them to learn from others, exchange ideas, and gain confidence in presenting their work beyond their own school environment.

Overall, the Junior Innovate Sarawak Northern Maker Fair 2026 was a meaningful learning experience for SK Trusan. More than the prizes won, the event inspired our students to think bigger, learn continuously, and see themselves as capable young innovators.
